Polyakov Andrey Pavlovich
Doctor of Medical Science, Professor of the Department of Oncology, Radiotherapy and Plastic Surgery at I.M Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Professor of the Department of Plastic Surgery with a course of ophthalmology at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, certified oncologist, maxillofacial surgeon, plastic surgeon.
In 1998 he completed professional training in microsurgery at the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Based on the research results, in 2002 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of medical science "Microsurgical reconstruction of the maxillofacial zone with costal-muscle flaps in cancer patients."
- Member of the Management Board of LLC “Russian Society of Head and Neck Tumors”, Russian Society of Reconstructive, Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeons. Doctor Polyakov is the full member of the European Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeons.

The main direction of research work - development of new methods of organ-preserving and reconstructive plastic operations using microsurgical techniques in the treatment of patients with malignant neoplasms of the maxillofacial zone.
Doctor Polyakov has published 320 publications, including 57 journal articles in the central press. He is the co-author of 13 patents of the RF. The results of scientific work were reported at 80 Russian and international and interregional scientific and practical conferences, congresses and meetings. In 2007 A.P. Polyakov was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

In 2014 he worked as a maxillofacial surgeon of the Department of head and neck tumors of the Research Institute of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Oncology Center named after N.N. Blokhin” of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
