Matveev Vsevolod Borisovich
Doctor Matveev is the leading oncourologist of Russia with supreme surgical experience (over 25 years). He is proficient in all types of open, laparoscopic and endoscopic surgical interventions for various oncological diseases of the genitourinary sphere. For several years he trained at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London. He performs about 600 operations annually, including unique operations for kidney cancer complicated by extended tumor thrombosis up to the heart chambers, and the most complex reconstructive operations for bladder cancer.
Mister Matveev has extensive experience in radical prostatectomy, organ-preserving surgery for kidney tumors and surgical treatment after chemotherapy in patients with testicular cancer (retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy). Particular attention is paid to the preservation of anatomical areas that are important for maintaining urinary retention and sexual function. Doctor Matveev is the expert in the field of drug treatment of urological oncological diseases.
He is a recognized expert in the field of oncourology in Russia and abroad. Mister Matveev holds the position of the President of the Russian Society of Urological Oncology, the author of more than 300 publications. He is the Member of the European Working group on the development of Urology (EAU) European Standards, member of the EORTC urological working group.
