Doctor Kononets is a representative of the surgical school of academician Mikhail Davydov, who headed the Oncology center named after N.N. Blokhin until 2017. He is a disciple of the Director of the Oncology center Ivan Stilidi. Mister Kononets entered the Blochin Oncology center as a fourth-year student and for 14 years worked in the department of thoraco-abdominal oncology, having risen from a volunteer student to a senior researcher.
