Doctor Egorov performs operations of any extent on the organs of the abdominal cavity, retroperitoneal space, the anterior abdominal wall, veins, and the thyroid gland. Author of several unique techniques for performing operations on the pancreas and duodenum. Doctor Egorov is fluent in English.
Doctor Egorov is the author of five monographs and more than 420 scientific papers on abdominal surgery and oncology.
Since 2004 - the leading, and since 2006 - the chief researcher of the abdominal department of the Institute of Surgery named after A.V. Vishnevsky.
From 2006 to 2015 - Professor of the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Postgraduate Education, Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M.Sechenov.
Since 2016 - Professor of the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education, Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Department of Surgery with courses in oncosurgery, endoscopy, surgical pathology, clinical transplantology and organ donation of the Institute of Postgraduate Professional Education of the FMBA of Russia.
Doctor Egorov is the member of such professional communities as the Society of Surgeons of Moscow and the Moscow Region, the Association of Surgeons-Hepatologists of Russia and the CIS countries, the International Pancreatological Association (IAP), the Russian Society of Surgeons (ROS), the Russian Pancreatic Club (RPC), the Society for the Surgery of Alimentary Tract (SSAT). He is the member of the editorial board of the Hepatogastroenterology journal.
